An Odd Season by TheInkgirl An Odd Season by TheInkgirl
I was coloring this; but Imma be crazy busy tomorrow, so I doubt I'd color it before Christmas. Oh well.

This is Ye Olde Obligatory Christmas Deviation. Only, you know how every Christmas *feels* different? Kind of like every year in highschool, or every summer camp, has a different feel--and you can never assume it will feel like it did last year? This year feels nothing like last year. In fact, overall, it's been a very odd Christmas season, for me. Not bad. Just odd. And The Hogfather is, without a doubt, the oddest Christmas story I know. Not bad. Just odd. So, here's Death, Albert, and Susan as a sketch, to wish you a Merry (Hogswatch) Christmas.

And honestly, Merry Christmas.

It's not like it's at all bad really. I was babysitting some kids earlier, and--since there's no snow here, we made cookie-dough balls instead of snowballs and had a cookie-dough-ball fight. And threw snowflake shaped sprinkles at eachother in an epic snow war. And they're coming with us to go caroling at nursing homes tomorrow. And, all things considered, it's pretty nice.

Happy Christmas! I haven't read the Hogfather, but I am in the middle of a different Terry Pratchett (and Neil Gaiman) book, Good Omens, so yes that is related to something somewhere. I loooove the girl with the tall hair there, great expression and softness :)

Back at ya, dahling! Well, both Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman are simply fabulous; so tell me how they work together when you finish Good Omens! Ah, thank you. Her hair, canonically, I'm jealous of. Apparently, it is both prehensile and self-styling. I would kill for that.
